Why should I work with a sleep consultant?
You can find information yourself, but there is so much out there and not all of it will work for your child! It's really hard to find the right solution for your child without the support and guidance from a professional. I have undergone the most extensive Child Sleep Consultant certification program through the Family Sleep Institute. I look at the holistic picture and ask ALL the questions, so we solve your child's sleep problems the right way. Everything I do is based on science and research on how sleep works and the proper sleep we need for our bodies.
Another question I get often about my success rate: it's almost everyone, high 90%'s. If you are ready to do this and work with me as a team, we will achieve your sleep goals.
Is there crying involved?
There may be! Change causes emotions, so there will likely be some crying as we change habits and develop healthy sleep habits for the future! We always tend to your baby's needs. Throughout the process, I ensure your whole family is supported. It is important to be positive about your child's sleep journey. Your baby is capable of more than you know if we provide the right support! We develop a plan for your family and choose a method that you are comfortable with. There is no one-size-fits-all all! I am here to support and guide you through the entire process.

Do you use Cry it Out?
I create a customized sleep plan that dives deep and looks at your child's sleep holistically. I am here to support you in the method you choose based on your child's temperament, your desired level of involvement, and your sleep goals. We are responsive to what your child needs as we learn new things! Some families prefer more involved methods and others prefer less involved methods, there is no right or wrong. It is YOUR choice. I help you decide what's best for you.
When will my child be sleeping better?
It truly depends on your child and the method we chose. There are more gradual methods that move a bit slower. I promise you will see some sleep wins within the first week though! It also is all about consistency and a positive mindset. I work with families for 3 weeks because it let's us move at any pace and truly work through any troublepoints that you may be experiencing. I want to be sure to set you up with the strongest sleep foundation so you can always be confident in your little one's sleep!
